High-Performance Psychologist & Performance Consultant to Professionals in High-Stakes Arenas
Créde Sheehy-Kelly is a Chartered High-Performance Psychologist with the Psychological Society of Ireland, and Performance Consultant to professionals in high-stakes arenas like trading, finance, business, and elite sport.
Originally qualifying as a sport psychologist, Créde began her career in 2007 working with elite athletes and sports teams. She worked on both sides of the performance equation: supporting athletes from a wide range of individual and team sports to achieve higher-levels of performance, and working with Leinster Rugby’s professional rugby players on their off-pitch development and player welfare.
This experience honed her expertise in how individuals perform and thrive under intense pressure — insight she later applied to the worlds of business, trading and finance, where the psychological demands mirror those of professional sport.
Distilling her coaching process into a repeatable framework, she developed the Go Deep to Level Up™ mental conditioning system—a scalable approach to elevating individual execution and performance through deep psychological transformation.
Outside of trading, Créde has designed and led large-scale behaviour-change programs leveraging sport and performance psychology principles. Notably, she designed and secured multimillion euro funding for Rugby Players Ireland the Z Zurich Foundation’s flagship Tackle Your Feelings mental wellbeing campaign, which has since been adapted and implemented across Australia with the Australian Football League. She also collaborated with the Z Zurich Foundation and UNICEF to help design their joint preventative mental wellbeing program targeting youth across the globe.
Today, Créde works with traders, finance professionals, athletes and business leaders, helping them sharpen decisions, maintain discipline and perform consistently at the highest level.
Her credentials include a first-class Masters Degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology, Chartered Psychologist status with the Psychological Society of Ireland, and Accredited Advanced Sport Scientist with the Irish Sport and Exercise Sciences Association.
